O processo de estruturação interna de segmentos tópicos mínimos em cartas de leitores de jornais paulistas do século XIX
Keywords:

This paper analyses the process of internal organization of minimal Topic Segments in reader letters collected from newspapers of the State of São Paulo (Brazil) published in the 19th century. It is argued that the minimal Topic Segments present a recurring pattern of internal organization, which is based on the sequencing of five particular topic units. In this way, the paper contributes to the description of that modality of letter, and also investigates the question of the systematic nature of the internal organization of minimal Topic Segments, making evident the regular status of such a process.
