Author Biography

Carlos Eduardo Falcão Uchôa, Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) / Liceu Literário Português

Licenciado e bacharel em Letras Clássicas pela então Universidade do Brasil, atual Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Desenvolveu toda sua carreira acadêmica na UFF, chegando à função de Professor Titular de Linguística, disciplina de que foi o primeiro docente nesta instituição, onde veio alcançar, após a sua aposentadoria (2002), o título de Professor Emérito Livre-Docente em Linguística. Foi coordenador do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras e Chefe do Departamento de Linguística e Filologia. Membro do Conselho de Ensino e Pesquisa da UFF. Sua atuação acadêmica foi centrada na área de Linguística, especialmente na disciplina Linguística Aplicada. Atua, desde 2004, no Curso de Especialização em Língua Portuguesa do Liceu Literário Português, lecionando a disciplina Linguística e ensino de Português.
