Abstract
Senhor Redator: Em sua edição de 09 de abril corrente, estampa o JB a notícia de que a Assembléia Legislativa do Estado do Rio de Janeiro decidiu extinguir 787 cargos de funcionários da Casa, por serem excedentes e, portanto, desnecessários. Eis exemplo a ser seguido pelo Governo Federal, uma vez que pretende enxugar o quadro de seus servidores civis. Assim procedendo, evitaria o cômodo processo das demissões arbitrárias, que só fazem agravar, pelo desemprego, os problemas sociais que aguardam solução. [...]
