Abstract
Senhor Redator, Muito estranhei, e deplorei, trecho do artigo do Sr. Fernando Pedreira, de que sou leitor assíduo, estampado na edição do JB, de domingo 13 do corrente, sob o título "Fronteiras (novas e velhas)". Refiro-me à passagem em que o autor faz considerações de ordem sociopolítica a respeito do Rio Grande do Sul, a qual, embora um tanto longa, não posso deixar de transcrever: "O Rio Grande, entretanto, é a exceção, embora uma exceção que conta, e muito.
