Caminhando com os fundamentos da gramática gerativa

Resumo

RESUMO: Esse artigo tem como propósito revisar os fundamentos, hipóteses, objetivos e propostas de implementações computacionais da Gramática Gerativa, sob uma ótica interdisciplinar que inclui além da Linguística, a Epistemologia, a Neurociência da Linguagem, a Biologia e a Evolução das Espécies. O artigo defende que, não obstante as atualizações que a Gramática Gerativa assumiu em seus 60 anos de existência, há uma coerência profunda das suas ideias principais, o que torna as muitas alterações e versões hipóteses de trabalho legítimas para um mesmo corpo teórico. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Gramática Gerativa; computação sintática; fundamentos teóricos; Além da Adequação Explicativa; evolução das espécies.
